ABOUT
Phase 4 of a multi phase residential redevelopment scheme including Manor house (Grove house) refurbishment and extension, barn and outbuilding conversion to form 4 dwellings with a new build dwelling within the grounds.
The house was purchased by Anthony Dearnley Homes Ltd and sat in a derelict state of repair. The last use of the house was by the old farm owner who housed turkeys at Christmas within the building.
Following extensive refurbishment works including structural repairs, replacement of floors and roof structure the house was also extended to the side and into the basement to bring back to life a once very grand property.
Additional works including conversion of the adjacent farm buildings, barns and cottages into several dwellings with hidden courtyards and a new build house all within a conservation area.
The end results speak for themselves and also earned an LABC Building Excellence award.
