ABOUT
This new build private residence was commissioned in an arts and crafts style by our visionary client.
The project had considerable planning constraints limiting the overall height of the house, but the key to this project is the attention to detail.
The client was keen to emulate arts and crafts details such as stone window surrounds, delicate material palette, sensitive window proportions, chimney detailing and slender window divisions.
As credit to the contractor, the execution of these details and others, has been painstaking, but the result is magnificent.
Achieving a project of this care and precision requires architectural input of the highest order. Every piece of cut stone was scheduled at our offices before being cut offsite and erected in situ.
Brick arches had to be manufactured in the factory based on detailed drawings and brought to site ready to slot into place.
All this happened with regular and in depth consultation with the client to establish design principles that would result in a house of the clients dreams.
